DeSoto Children's Parade & ELC Party in the Park
Save the date and join us on Friday, April 18th (10:00am-2:00pm) for the 2025 DeSoto Children's Parade and ELC Party in the Park, a FREE family event! This year's float theme is "Once Upon a Parade: A Storybook Collection". Watch your favorite stories come to life as they parade their way down 10th Street, ending with a party in Sutton Park featuring the ELC Book Bus, local agencies, FREE resources for families, games for kids, face-painting, arts and crafts, and more! BLOCK Fest FREE Family Event
Join us on Wednesday, April 23rd (5:00pm-7:00pm) at the Manatee County Public Library for BLOCK Fest, a 2025 Remake Learning Days Suncoast event. BLOCK Fest® is a research-based exhibit that helps raise awareness of early math and science learning by offering interactive and hands-on block play experiences to young children ages 8 months to 8 years old and their families.
